The Pittsburgh Penguins are moving on to the second round of the NHL playoffs and will likely play the Boson Bruins in round two. This is going to be a great series, and Penguins playoff tickets are already moving very fast. The first-round series against the Ottawa Senators was not perfect, but the Penguins emerged victorious. They are starting to get hot at just the right time, and this bodes well if you have Pittsburgh Penguins tickets to see them live. In the Boston Bruins the Penguins are facing a gritty team whose defense can be stifling. The Penguins offense will likely need to perform better than they did against the Senators. The Penguins have been a lot better at scoring than the Bruins, so they have that going for them. Sydney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin need to lead this team and put the puck in the goal if the Penguins are going to advance. Additionally, as if you need more reasons to buy Penguins playoff tickets, this is the last year to see them at the Mellon Arena. Yes next year the Penguins will play at the Consol Energy Center, so you can be a part of history if you get Penguins tickets for the playoffs. At the Mellon Arena the Penguins enjoy a great home field advantage. But those Bruins fans can make noise with the best of 'em. The Penguins will need to play hard if they are going to shut up the fans holding Bruins tickets for the games at the TD Bank Garden. The Penguins have home field advantage, so should the series go seven games they'll play at Mellon Arena four times. SO make sure that you see the champs defend their title and get some Pittsburgh Penguins tickets right away.

In other NHL playoff news, the Capitals and Canadiens are still locked in what has become an epic battle. Everyone is expecting the #1 seeded Capitals to take out Montreal, but we will see what happens. They'll be buying a ton of Capitals tickets in Washington DC, I can tell you that much. And the other Eastern Conference team that has moved on are the Philadelphia Flyers. They beat the two-seeded NJ Devils in a great series, so they will be a force. They are a physical team, and with anyone with Flyers tickets behind them, they could put on a challenge.

And in the Western Conference, all the first-round series over, with the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks and Detroit Red Wings are moving on. These are some great hockey clubs and it will be fun to see what happens there. With San Jose finally winning a first round series, Sharks tickets are as good as gold. Vancouver is another team enjoying its return to hockey if sales of Canucks playoff tickets are any indication. They are a young team but they've been playing great. Another very good and very young team is Chicago, whose long-dormant fans are out and about buying Blackhawks tickets all over the place. And of course the Detroit Red Wings, who are no stranger to loyal Penguins ticket buyers, have their fans. Winning never gets old and Red Wings playoff tickets are some of the biggest seller.

So that;s the news as the Pittsburgh Penguins head into round 2 of the playoffs. This is going to be a great series and you never know what is going to happen. Buy you can buy Penguins playoff tickets still and see the team in person. Don't miss out because this looks like another great year.
